11:20am

At 11:20am the ventilator started alarming and you stopped breathing, so we turned off your oxygen concentrators. We took off your oxygen mask and for the first time in months we could see your face, really see it. You looked so peaceful. And then I couldn’t stand it because it didn’t feel like you anymore so I left.  — The only way I can really describe the moment I lost my best friend and brother.
